Our guitar lessons use material pertaining to the Rockschool and Trinity College London exam syllabuses, while allowing teachers to use their own expertise to introduce other methods of learning. Lessons have a well-rounded form, making time to work on modern songs, classic songs, improvising, theory, reading, rhythms and aural practice.
The students work in groups of up to eight allowing them great experience of playing music in an ensemble, taking it in turn to improvise and perform. Students normally work towards taking a grade from the Rockschool or Trinity College syllabus and will be able to showcase their work at concerts throughout the year. Both of these tools work as great incentives to learning.
